At VinePath Mentoring, we believe every person is uniquely created by God with purpose, gifts, and potential worth nurturing. Through mentorship, educational enrichment, and hands-on learning experiences, we help children, teens, and adults build confidence, develop practical life skills, and prepare for success in school, work, and life. Our programs include leadership development, afterschool and homeschool enrichment, college and career preparation, interview skills, and creative website and marketing support. Our mission is to inspire lifelong learning, cultivate meaningful relationships, and equip individuals with the knowledge, character, and confidence to thrive.
Meet The Founder
Hi, I’m Laken Foster, founder of VinePath Mentoring, wife, and mother of two. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2012 and bring over a decade of experience in social work, counseling, and education. My career began in family crisis counseling, supporting foster youth and leading groups focused on life skills, personal growth, and behavior development before spending ten years teaching middle and high school students in the DFW area.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students build confidence, communication skills, professionalism, career readiness, resume writing, interviewing skills, and leadership. As an FCCLA advisor, I grew a program to more than 100 students and guided students in entrepreneurship, public speaking, leadership development, and national-level competitions.
VinePath Mentoring was inspired by both my professional experience and my personal journey as a first-generation college student and parent of a child with autism and ADHD. I understand that every student learns differently and deserves individualized support. Rooted in faith and the belief that every child is uniquely created with purpose, my mission is to equip students with practical skills, confidence, and mentorship as they pursue the path God has for their lives.

Drop-off 1 Day/week Enrichment Program designed for ages 8-11 and 12-15.
Classes run from 9:30am-1:20pm. Lunch time is built-in and students must bring a lunch.
